Patient Choice
All patients in Cannock Chase have the right to choose, in most cases, which hospital or service you go to for physical and mental health conditions. This includes NHS and private hospitals which operate under an NHS contract. You can also choose which clinical team led by a consultant or named healthcare professional you see. Each acute trust that manage our local hospitals have their own NHS choices page with further information. You can search for any provider on the NHS Choices website, or see a list of our main providers below:

As well as consultant led care, you can now choose which provider you see for a number of smaller community based services in Cannock Chase. These include Vasectomy service, Non-Obstetric Ultrasound Service & Hearing Service. The NHS Choice Framework details specific choices you have for a number of services or specialities, including:
