Be prepared for Easter and order your repeat prescriptions now

As Easter approaches health chiefs are reminding patients to be prepared and to check what medications they need to order their prescriptions in advance of the Bank Holiday weekend.

Stafford and Surrounds, Cannock Chase and South East Staffordshire and Seisdon Peninsula Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are advising patients to order and collect their repeat prescriptions in plenty of time as GP practices will be closed on Friday 14 April 2017 (Good Friday) and Monday 17 April 2017 and many pharmacies will have limited opening hours over this weekend.

If for some reason patients do run out of medications, they are advised to speak to a community pharmacist or to contact NHS 111 for advice. Information on which community pharmacies are open during this period can be found here:  pdf Pharmacy Easter Bank Holiday Opening Hours (241 KB)
