Dr Singh is a senior Partner at Horse Fair Practice in Rugeley. Since qualifying in 1992, he has worked in various secondary care roles in different medical specialities until moving to General Practice in 2001.
For over nine years, Dr Singh worked as a Clinical Assistant / GP with special interest in Respiratory Medicine at Mid Staffs Hospital. For over 20 years he has been actively involved in research and management of respiratory illnesses at both secondary and primary care levels. He also has three years’ experience of managing diverse respiratory diseases in a busy respiratory unit in India.
Dr Singh thoroughly enjoys his presentations of practice-based research on asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at national and international conferences. He is actively involved with General Practice teaching and training of GP registrars and medical students.
In 2013 he joined Cannock Chase CCG as a clinical lead for Long Term Conditions and Respiratory services. Since then he has also been involved as a clinical lead for development and redesigning services for unplanned admissions, urgent care and paediatrics. Dr Singh has been a Governing Body member since 2015. He is passionate about bringing his past experience to deliver a patient centred multispecialty holistic care in the community.
