Dr Mo Huda is a senior partner at Aelfgar Surgery, Rugeley. Dr Huda has been involved with many primary care trust clinical roles for example, a Quality and Outcomes Framework assessor since 2004, IM&T DES (Information Management and Technology Directed Enhanced Services) assessor since 2005 and a PEC (Professional Executive Committee) member and Practice Based Commissioning board member until 2010.
Dr Huda decided to re-join the Cannock Chase CCG as a Board Member as he sees great opportunities for development and redesign of services. He has a particular interest in in improving services for patients with long term conditions, having worked as a Clinical Assistant in respiratory medicine working alongside consultants at the local hospital for 11 years. He took over the role of CCG Chair in June 2015.
Achievements include the development of the COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) Admission Avoidance Team who are now the Cannock Respiratory Team. Dr Huda's current role on the Board includes Primary Care Development, End of Life Clinical Lead, Individual Funding Clinical Lead and Clinician in Clinical Prescribing Advisory Group along with Lead Clinician in QIPP committee. He is part of Cannock Governing Body, Membership Board, Finance, Performance and QIPP Committee and IM&T Group meetings.
